 Yeah when I spoke with Mike about he said it's close and there are just a few small details to work out (patens, marketing, etc) it should be out within the few weeks and we are extremely excited about it..:intello:
Go MIKE!..:yipi: and THANK YOU!... |
Any updates? We're almost half way through the month....... Sigh.
I should finalize the Patent paperwork next week. :)
Way cool! Sign me up.....
Sorry if this has been answered before, but can someone tell me what the advantage is, having a slipperential instead of a centre diff?
Less shock and wear on the drivetrain
Yep, has all the handling advantages of a center diff, but with the bonus of a decent slipper clutch to prevent shock and damage to the drivetrain and motor. That, and it looks so sexy....
Differences
With the center diff setup the only adjstment you have is changing your fluid in the diff. With the slipperential you can actually make adjustments to your slipper for better control if you wish right at the track or while you are bashing. And yes as Neil said it sure does look SEXY

Info
I believe from the info posted here by MonsterMike that it is planned to be a universal piece of equipment that can be installed on just about any R/C vehicle platform with some adjustments or at least minimal modifications.
