i found all steel ones on tower, mmc was plan B:lol:

McMaster is one of my favorite resources. They literally have everything. I usually buy all my metric screws from them as well as many other items which cost 2-10 times the price buying through a typical rc retailer. The worst is what some rc places charge for screw kits. 12.9 steel is 12.9 steel and no matter where it comes from it has to meet ASTM and ASME standards.

Their shipping is also ultra fast. Same day in most cases and most of the time I get my stuff from the Atlanta warehouse next day.

i have tower credit so i might go that route, then again i know someone who works ar MMC in georgia :D

COP-i figured out the problem. the outer pressure plate on the E-savage clutch is keyed to the shaft, since the spring rides on the outer plate instead of the spur gear itself-it wont spin. so then since i knew that i needed to incorperate the other plate i decided to get the savage X style dual sided spur gear-made for a dual plate slipper.. should eliminate the problem. In other news while running 2 days ago the front center drive cup went shooting off the transmission and landed somewhere in my neighbors front lawn- lost forever...
i also noticed that the front center dogbone was very worn

with the help of Takedown and some creative back-tracking i found out that the drive cups were from an FLM extended tvp kit for the e-savage. called up FLM and they said i only need to pay 5 Bucks for shipping. afterwards i called the FLM machine shop and asked jamie how much for him to whip up a 94mm dogbone for me, $7.50. so for 12.50 i got everything i need..

i currently have 40 dollars and am debating on what to do with it
1. get spare parts
2. save for MMM
3. put it towards a digital camera for mom.

i will keep you posted
