Must be some sort of country access limit in that site.
OK, thanks! The plate sit just fine in there, flexible stuff. Good thing though that it holds the diff much sturdier in place now. And another prob is the front diff retainer. But it was easy fix, just worked a bit and fit there nicely. My friend runned through one pack today with the new diffs and they work flawless. Noticed that it losed some speed, but that was expected. Have to put couple more teeths to the pinion now, systems are running too cold :mdr: |
Heehee, I have had awesome time with my g2r. Drove it like a maniac. Too bad my bowties haven't had that much fun, almost slicks now :mdr: had to switch to hpi fatlines..
Gotta say, the diffs really are bulletproof works like charm! Now I really can give it WOT without fearing that the diffs will blow up. Now that I have saw the cars limits, the suspension setup is far too soft it will bottom very easily. What spring rates would you guys suggest and what oils to use in the shocks? There's now green at front and pink at rear. Pre load is fully adjusted  |
Any suggestion for the spring setup? Maybe black for front and pink to the rear? Just checked I have Tan at the rear not pink like I said on the upper post..
It bottoms really easily now. Drive over a small bumb the front hits to the ground :P I think the extra weight on the batterys are the main reason why its bottoming. Maybe with lipos I wouldn't have that problem. But yeah, throw me some ideas about the shock setup. |
Hi Hardstyle. I am not so sure on suspension setup yet. I havent had alot of run time on my truck yet. The dang thing keeps breaking. I was looking at buying the v3 diffs today to replace the broken stock ones. What gearing are you running? What batteries?

Black springs in front and pink in rear would work. Take into account the weight balance of your truck, if it happens to be almost evenly balanced front to rear, then possibly black in front and silver in the rear. If it's rear heavy like the nitro revos then black/pink would be a better choice.
