I hope the MMM combo comes in soon. Really looking forward to some vids!

Last Muggy conversion I saw had the Rx placed on the little deck by the front or rear shocktowers, such is the size of the Muggy and smallness of the Rx he used.

That's where I put mine. Spektrum SR3000 with some double sided 3m sticky pad and it fit really well.

How about a layout pic? I kept the stock radio box, and modded it a bit...

I thought about putting it on one of those plates, but the mmm is going to be either behind the motor or the battery tray, and idk if it's wire could go all the way to the reciever

Rear plate should be fine, then its just the servo wires that might not be long enough to reach the Rx; god bless servo wire extensions

why only front brakes?

cembom 10.15.2008 07:41 PM

For front flips....

roweder 10.15.2008 09:33 PM

because I like mechanical breaks better cuz they keep the bl stuff cooler, and the only way to use mechanical brakes and put the battery twords the front that i could find is what i did

I understand why to use mechanical brakes- but why JUST the front?

BL_RV0 10.15.2008 11:12 PM

:oh: That's some SERIOUS toe-in on that rear wheel!

drkdgglr 10.16.2008 03:16 AM

I received my muggy yesterday. I placed the brake servo in the same place, but the other whay around, with the horn facing the inside of the truck. This way I can use both brakes without further adjustments. I only had to use the outer hole on the servo arm.

i couldn't find a servo position that could pull on the front and rear breaks

do you have a picture of that? I'm not sure I understand how you set yours up?

drkdgglr 10.16.2008 03:59 PM

sorry no pic yet. I have the servo mounted in the opposite direction of yours...rotated 180deg.

roweder 10.17.2008 08:34 PM

How does that allow you to use front and rear brakes? I really want to find out how you did that, please tell me.
