Thanks CHC!

I added another page for BEC wiring and info. It even has diagrams. :) I figure the question gets asked enough to warrant its own page...

R/C Calculations

Brilliant Brian!

Great addition!!

Brian, RC Calculations is an awesome work. Congratulations!

Some spanish dudes are asking me to translate it.
Do you think is a good idea?

BrianG 11.25.2006 03:57 PM

Thanks all!

I don't see why translating it should be a big deal. Although, the Google web translator would work well in a pinch...

Another small update to the BEC & Wiring page. Added fan hookup option and a couple other small things...

BrianG 12.02.2006 12:58 AM

Added option for more fans to the BEC & Wiring page...

MetalMan 12.02.2006 01:19 AM

Pretty cool!

BrianG 12.05.2006 11:59 PM

Added the dimensions for the various motors where applicable on the Miscellaneous Data page...

MetalMan 12.06.2006 12:19 AM

It just keeps getting better and better :027:.

BrianG 12.06.2006 12:25 AM

Thanks MM!

If you see something that is incorrect or missing, please let me know. I grabbed what I could from the LMT, BK-Electronics, Castle, and Neu websites, so things might have changed since they published their values.

hey when using the calculator and coming up with voltage for li-po would it be 3.7 or 4.2v per cell? thanx
phil

Sylvester 12.14.2006 08:03 PM

3.7V. It wont be @4.2 since your going WOT when trying to get up to top speed.

MetalMan 12.15.2006 12:16 AM

I use 3.5 usually, for a best-case approximation.

BrianG 12.15.2006 01:12 AM

Added LST tranny ratios, LVC diagram to the wiring page, and a couple other small changes.

Someone requested entries of these 18th scale vehicles:

- Associated RC18T/MT/B
- Associated RC18MT PRO
- Kyosho mini Inferno ST
- Kyosho mini Inferno ST PRO
- Xray M18MT
- Team Losi Mini-t

However, I don't really feel like looking up the various tooth counts for these, so if anyone happens to know any of them, let me know and I'll add them.

Link is in my sig...

I try to base it on the type of cells and sytem. I ussually use 3.7 myself.
Not saying it is totally accurate. But then again. It gets you in a close
guesstimate.
