I won't be using those coupons... I was actually a good boy and put my spare cash into my IRA.... boring, I know.

The Pro version really doesn't need much in the way of upgrades. You may need a bit stiffer springs if you run a heavy battery/motor combo. The spur gear should be just fine as long as you are running the RC-Monster hardened pinions. Drop Mike an email, ask him if he has a motor mount for a Muggy (see this post). The Muggy center diff is exactly the same as the Sportwerks.

The center diff mount for the muggy and turmoil is the same? If this is confirmed and Mike has the mounts available I may pick one up.

I have both a Mayhem and a Muggy, the diffs are physically identical (hardened spider gears on sportwerks). I use the aluminum center diff mounts for the Mayhem ST in both rigs, with my homemade motor mounts bolted on. I know Mike has just done a Muggy mount for someone on the forum, so he should have em now.

Not long, that is the one that will work for the sportwerks diffs as well.

Thanks bdebde. The mount was not on the site last night but it was there after I received a reply from Mike. As soon as they are in stock I need to order it since a buggy should be on the way!

Ohhhh....Now the cheap Turmoil is much more tempting....must....resist.....

ahh, I think I am going to pull the trigger on one. So from what I read the muggy/sportwerks mount should be ok with mech brakes, just somewhat limited on pinion size right? To me it looks like a heck of a car for the money. Just maybe a bit worried about parts a couple years down the road.
