You can also go to cheapbatterypacks.com and get custom made side by side with the better battery bars. That is what I have done in the past and I have never had any problems. I need to get Li-Pos though.

I totally agree with Serum. I doubt there is anything wrong with the truck. Those great planes junk no-name cells have too much resistance and can't handle the current demand. Tell your friend he needs to invest in good packs. Ener-g 4600mah cells are the best right now in nimh. I got two sets of 7-cells from boomboombatteries.com. I couldn't be happier with them.

Ordered some 6000mah lipos last night. Planning on using them primarily in my e-revo but I'd like to use them in my 3905 Maxx as well. Anyone have any idea of what leads I would connect a li-saver to? I tried using a meter last night to see if I could get 2 leads to come up with the full voltage but all I could get was the voltage from 1 pack, about 8.2 out of my nimh pack. Any help?
