That would be nice. Charge that morning play until the sun goes down. That is one reason I was thinking of lipo. The technology is getting better all the time. As that does the price will come down. I will wait a little longer. I thought about getting two 10500 packs at 18.5 volts. Strap one on each side and go. 21000 mah. That should last a little while. :cool:

i have a evo and am wondering what would be the best lipo setup? i was looking at the maxamps polyquest 6000s. i currently run a lehner xl3100/warrior 9920 and the magnets just came off the rotor and if it cant be fixed im thinking of getting a new feigao instead. what would be the best setup if i was to get a new motor and what motor would you recommend? i wouldnt mind going up in cell count a little because as of now i am running only 12 cells but 16 is my max because my charge only charges up to 8 cells and i need new batteries anyway. what to get?

For your e-Revo, a Feigao 7XL would be a good motor. If you are looking at going Lipo, how about a 5s 5000mah setup? If you go with 5s, then even 4000mah will be plenty. Your Lehner 3100XL must be pretty stressed in your Revo, so a slower motor would be a better choice.

im not really sure, it was perfectly fine in my e-maxx and about 4 runs in my evo and it gave out. i dont know if it was defective or what but i had only run about 12-15 sets of batteries through it. i really need the 6000s because i need as much runtime as possible because the closest track i know of is about 75 miles away and is outdoors so its gonna be nitro dominated so i would asume its gonna have really long mains. i was also thinking about the 7xl but im not sure how it would perform on 12 cells for temperary. how would it run compared to my xl3100?

The 7xl will have more torque than your 3100xl. I don't know if you will get the run time out of your motor that you want. I currently run a 9xl. I get about 25-30 minutes bashing around. I run 3300 and 3700 gp batteries. I tried the xl 2000 in my emaxx. The 7xl did much better. I just not sure if you going to get the run time your looking for. If you run the lipo 6000 packs. That will bump your run time up. Hope this helps you. I know you a lehner man. Maybe you could get the 1940 or so. Not sure which one is equivalant to 7xl. Good luck.

that 9XL coolhand, how many cells are you using and what it the topspeed your can achieve with it?

I have been running 14-18 cells serum. Not sure on top speed. It does pretty good. I would have to guess in the neigborhood of around the 40+ bracket. Runs cool to. It is like the 7xl I had. Not as fast but just as powerful and run longer. I get about 25-30 minutes on a battery packs. That is with 3700 gp. I like the motor. It runs good even on 14 cells. The hacker people recommend 12-18 cells on there motor. It does nice.

Is it a hacker? i thought a Feigao?

it is a memisis. aka feigao. But hacker is close to design so i sometimes compare the two to help with decission. The more info I have the better. It is better than just guessing.

Well its not close, but identical to the Feigaos in every sense. The only difference might be the quality of both motors.

Well it could be, but the price of the Feigao settles the duel quite well.
