I would contact schulze about this.
I don't know, it should work, those few tenths of volts should not be a problem imo.. |
Yeah, the quarter scale servo holdes up very very well.. haven't stripped anything yet....
I've tried contacting schulze, but no reply... I guess the 2280 will be my next motor.... isn't it about 4000 Watts.???.. |
Yes.. It is!!
you need some proper cells to power up that beast!! I just bought a nice charger! up to 10S lipoly! (@4A) |
What charger did you get?.. 10S?.. I need that...
my Astro 109D only does 9S... If there's something that does 12S, that would even be better... |
You boys got me started. Just out of curiousity, what would be the best combo money could buy for an 8th scale buggy? What Lehner? 19what? What Lipos would you get when money would not be a question?
|
Well, about the lipo's those new ballanced FMA's ? Or the Kokam 3200's..
A 1950 would get my vote. I like a large motor on not too many cells.. (you also experienced it with your XL) you could also get a wanderer 8XL or a 9XL.. if they only had those segmented magnets... The charger i got is a Graupner Duo PRo 30. |
An 8th scale buggy would be a nice platform for a 60ish mph BL, I think. Should still be pretty driveable..
I hope those Wanderers will have simillar numbers than the Lehners, indeed. And I also hope they WILL get available one fine day. BTW, what wind on the 1950 on 4s, or 5s? Thank you. |
@ daniel, no need for a buggy, get e set of komodo's for your revo!!
On how many cells are you planning that 1/8th? 6 cells?? (kidding) 12, 14, 16? |
1/8 buggies are still the toughest chassis construction available. They can literally take a beating.
You just want to sell me those komodos :p kiddin' Well, I have a bunch of 14 cell sets at the moment. And my therapist told me to stick to 14. ;) But I keep thinking: A nice Lipo pack would also fit into a 7 cell tray.... |
Yeah. I smell a potential 2X 3S candidate.......
