Good choice! NeuEnergy packs are nice: got my Rustler to 82 mph on 4S, pulling close to 2000 Watts @ about 125 A.

Because of that I will be using them on my new project - Megatron:

Will be running a Hyperion LCX 5350 5S on the Rustler during testing coming up. Depending on what my data logger shows, I might have to go to a NeuEnergy 5S on it...

So you basically compared two cheap chinese cells, a 3800 and a 3000 (in 2p config to make the 6000). There is a huge difference between a maxamps 6000 and a trakpower (4900mah). Batteries make a huge difference. My 7xl vehicles would not run correctly with maxmaps 4s pack, 5000 or 6000. They run fine with a pair of trakpower lipos. And the trakpower was cheaper than the 6000 packs.

I compared a cheap 4S 3800mAh pack AGAINST a Maxamps 4S 6000mAh, so, you're saying Maxamps are crap too?

Problem with those other packs is the dimensions won't fit my truck (BLST), but, they will in the CRT & Kanai. I wanted to keep them all the same to make it cheaper, but, looks like I will have to go the really expensive stuff.

On that note, where can I get these packs nice & cheap??

I've ready numerous posts to that effect on various sites. Not a lot, but enough to make me stay away from them for now.

Hmmmm ok, & can you direct me to a site to get these Neu packs?

people have had problems with buying from NEU directly, they dont update thier web page and they could be out of stock when on the page they say they have it and than could be weeks before they make any, and also any pack that has Enerland cells will have the same performance as a Neu pack (Neus's have Enerland cells) Polyquest, Flightpower and Trakpower also do.

A quick call to neu will resolve any questions about stock status.
