I agree with you, though UE isn't overpriced. The machining process is very time consuming, they use a fair price IMO, considering the used type of aluminum, the machining process and design. It might be expensive, but you get a perfect product.
FLM is fair priced. Not the best product you can find, fit wise, but an affordable price makes it up. RC-monster parts are fair priced too, and a top-notch fit as well. gmaxx got a little enthusiastic with his prices during his last 'update' (going from g2 to g3) this design is somewhat too simple in my opinion for the price charged. |

Comes without skids, no X braces anymore, lower plate is bend (and relative thin, 3/32) |

Yes, IMO.
it comes without driveshafts and without skids, plus the x-braces where more expensive to produce than the small pipes as used for this design.. |
I like the older chassis better. It's more robust compared to this one.
