All i have had for runins, was a few radar checks but no comments, and one time where a neighbor was worried i had a bomb on the car  I guess he had just watched Dead Pool, That was cleared up as quick as i took the body off, so no foul

A bomb?... Whats he on?

brushlessboy16 08.04.2008 12:10 AM

Like i said, I think he was watching Dead Pool. You remember the rc car bomb?

In my opinion, the greatest piece of rc car footage ever in a major film

E-Revonut: It's obvious that you weren't at fault in any of those situations. If you were, you'd be at the station in no time. :oh:

I don't know if this counts, but, on one of my family vacations I decided to bring my R/C. This is back when I used NiMH packs. I had it in a backpack. The backpack went through the X-ray and one of the guards starts yelling: "Bag check! Bag check!". So I had to go over and open it up and show them it was a battery pack and not a stick of dynamite!

Mine have always been good. Some sit and watch, some just nod and move on.

E-revonut, I think you handled it best. I guy I worked with used to tell me "sometimes you can call a person an SOB without calling them an SOB". Good advice in my opinion.

Once you set yourself as an a-hole in the view of other people, the image is hard to remove. You apt mgr and the cops both know, and I am sure it will only be to his detriment.

I bet everyone was standing back too when you opened your bag.

My friends and I have hit a few cars before and thankfully the owners haven't been around to see it. Playing cat and mouse my friend was too busy watching my car (the mouse) and went WOT under fairly low van with his stampy. The stampy ended up wedged way up under the car. It was rather entertaining watching him try to get it back. Also running in dirt car parks you know you are getting too close to the cars when you hear rock bouncing off the paint work.

Someone posted the story a while back about the cops turning up on him. I laughed so hard when I read it.

Nothing too exciting. Warehouse parking lot at 2 am after/near work doin speed runs. Some truck drove by, then a cop lookin like he was following him, then he saw us. Pulled in and here we are holding this stupid hot wheels radar gun in the spotlight. Asked us if we worked there, said no, over there and the cop hauled ass out of there to continue on that truck.

Damn!!! Those were some crazy driving skills. To be able to drive a real car and a RC with a stick radio is amazing! It is funny seeing those kids play with the old school gold tub rc10 and magnum radio because i used to have both those back in the day as i'm sure many of us on here did too. Man am i getting old.

That guy did have some pretty good driving skills. Only spinned out once. Neat thing.

And the filming was great too. If only all the youtube rc videos had that good of filming. ;)
