Before you answer that - just imagine you owned a company, and your workers screwed up an order the same way... wouldn't you want your customer to be honest and send it back??
Even better - i know how ppl tend to worship Mike round here - so what if it was him that made the same mistake?? would you have sent it back or said nothing??

This is clearly the same thing as stealing... no wonder the world is turning to shit, with all the decency shrivelling away from society...

Does anyone agree with me here?? Or has this even crossed anyones mind??

Castlecreations is a pritty big company, they have money enough..

Mike is 1 person, I dunno how much money Mike has, but I don't believe hes very rich. If Mike makes such a mistake it's not very good, if CC makes such a mistake than it's not such a big problem...

Again, sorry for my Englisch, I hope you guys will understand what I mean

No way I would send it back, unless they contacted me and asked me to. For all I knew, she said 1515 on the phone and i misheard her....

if it is a 1515 did I get a better motor for my converted revo than I expected or should i sell this ......can i get 45mph out of this motor on 4's and still run cool? and what can I get out of it on 6's?

Personally, I'd at least call them and let them know. Even if they asked for a few extra bucks, it's still a heck of a lot cheaper than a new one.

Mike accidentally sent me two lipo packs once when I ordered (and paid for) only one. I let him know and he was grateful.

Another time, I ordered a CRT.5 from someplace, but there was a bit of confusion between the warehouse and retail area. The truck came, but I ended up not paying a penny for it. I called the store and explained the situation, but no one ever did anything, and the credit card still wasn't charged.

What goes around, comes around. Call it karma, but I'd at least give them a heads up.

bl-is-future 08.08.2008 09:45 AM

Yeah i agree you should call them and tell them what you got. Granted it is tempting to just keep it but as Brian said there is what is called karma.

BTW thanks brushlessboy for the number

brushlessboy16 08.08.2008 09:51 AM

well said brian, my mom and i purchased a big craftsman toolbox for my dad's b-day
the one we wanted was 12 drawers and ballbearing slides. well we go into Sears and the one we wanted was right by the door all shiny and all :D...its taken and they have no more instock (sears warehouse had a fire) so we go back and fourth with the department guy and he eventually calls his manager. my mom goes down this big list.. we want this, this, this, and this, just like the floor model and dont want to pay more then the 400 dollars. after 2 hours in the store being very patient they struck up a deal i higher model all ball bearing drawers, ball bearing caster wheels, griplatch 18 drawer for the price of of the floor model 12 drawer.. the biggun' sells for 975 dollars and she walked out of sears with it for $451

shows what a bit of good can do for you

I just tried to call but they are not open yet....but I am going to get in touch with them today to tell them what happen

brushlessboy16 08.08.2008 10:24 AM

when did you buy the motor?

skellyo 08.08.2008 10:31 AM

If your packing slip/invoice shows a 1515/2.5D I don't see a problem. If it says 1512/2.5D, I'd definitely call them.

I paid them on 8-04-08 and received it yesterday

what know one seems to understand here is that they have a box with these tested motors in it..at the time I called this motor was the only 15 series motor that was available but it wasnt even put up on the webpage yet so she didnt know what to charge me for the motor so she told me to call back when she talk to the person in charge (steve) and when I called back she said they wanted $100

now you must realize that when the motors are posted on there website all the motors are priced at around $100 some higher for big big motors or motors with fans built on..even there smaller series motors are $100

bl-is-future 08.08.2008 10:35 AM

i dont think cost is really the point. It is a point of honesty. If you are dishonest it WILL come back to bite you in the ass sooner or later. I have seen it happen to many before.
