what parts of the diffs get ruined by this anyways? i thought it would be the drivetrain axles that would be the issues.

I sheared the 4 screws that hold the ring gear to the cup, then the ring gear broke teeth and the spider gears turned into tiny chunks once the could move around.

The stock revo diffs use m2.5 screws and plastic cups with plastic cases, allows for too much flex when alot of torque is applied.

ouu ok got you. yea i already chipped a few teeth on my ring gear. i noticed that when i switched over to 85k diff oil. i was wondering how that happened. so its from too much power. i better take it easy of my wot from stand still then. and yes i did replace the ring gear...although i think i may have chipped one tooth on the new one. im hearing the same clicking sound i heard before when the other ring gear chipped. and i dont even wot. maybe i need to shim...? cus its only the outter edge of the teeth that got chipped off. so maybe i need to shim them closer huh?
