Geogenesis, do some thinking for yourself. I'm sure you don't need your hand held to go to the toilet, so i'm sure you can figure out if the polyRC packs will fit into the e-revo.

It is indeed a matter of common sense. The dimensions above are accurate, so it will be obvious if any given pack will fit or not (a 30mm high pack will fit (just), a 31mm high pack will not).

This aint the traxxas forum anymore, a little more free- thinking and experimentation is called for to figure out ones own questions, especially when they are such simple ones.

okay i get that but i just want to know how a 3s 4500mah 30c pack is longer than the 5000mah 30pack

tc3_racer_001 08.20.2008 11:44 PM

the 5000 is most likely taller.

Think of battery capacity like water in a bottle. You can have a liter of water in bottles with different shapes and sizes, but the volume is still 1 liter. Same thing applies to battery capacity. Lipo capacity and volume are directly proportional in most cases when talking lipos.Try to understand what i have said and it will all become clear.

So how do maxamps packs always seem to be smaller than the comparable spec enerland cell based packs? (this is sarcasm)

What you say is quite true, however reformulation can lead to smaller cells of the same capacity. Just another way that I know that maxamps specs are bogus....
