What about the weight issue?
|
what about the weight? if geared right that weight wont be a problem for a basic xl, if thats what you mean.
|
No maxxima;
That basic XL really is no good for you. You like it more powerfull, eversice you've got this dual setup. the 7XL is the mininum i would take. or you are planning on running a high voltage setup.. you can achieve good results with a basic XL, but it's not what you expect from a BL setup, you are used to DUAL motors that are more powerfull each than a basic XL |
I got an idea john. Take one system of your other truck. I know you don't want to. Put it on the other truck and run it to see what you want. It give you an idea of more of less. If you know what I mean. That away you know about what you want out of the truck. Then order up what you want and put the 9l system back to the duallie.

O.K.
After all that, I found a used 9L on ebay that I won for $62 (includes shipping). He said he only had 2 runs on it (yah right). Still $20+ cheaper than a new one. Now I need to get a controller. What is the difference between the 9918 that I have now and the 9920? |
same thing, i think the 9920 has the ubec. WHy do you ask??? u foudn a used one?!?!?
|
I'mmmm not tellllllliiiinnnn!!!:D
|
a 9920 is the same thing as a 9918 except they changed something with the built-in bec. they say it works better now on lower cell counts.
|
The 9920 is slightly upgraded. It has dual wires everywhere, the throttle curve was adjusted, and it has been more optimized for lower cell counts. It still has the same BEC chip as the 9920, though.

O.K. thanks!
