Hi Crazyjr.
I am running FM and 40MHz, this is different to the US. I think you have 35 or 70MHz. But the length of the waves are not different very much. I have tried a DSM too with 2.4 GHz. With this radio I tried only very short time and had no problems. But I really have only tested for a short period. So I can not say if there is definitely no problem with the DSM. I have sold the DSM, because the spektrum DSM DX-3 cannot handle the transmission of an Emaxx. The only two things I want to do: 1) change the schulze against a warrior 9920 (this will work with the feigao) 2) a friend of mine he is an expert in communications engineering. He will come with a device which can measure frequencies. So than I have to wait for the 9920 from Mike and for my friend, he is currently on holidays. But if there are any other things which I can try let me know. I cannot believe this will come from the metal, because in this case all other metal maxxes will have similar problems. Gusti |

ON your changing of transmitters and such. did you try different crystals as well?

Hey Coolhandcountry
Thank you for posting. Yes, I have purchased 3 new complete new radios. - First one with systhesizer, tried different channels. - Second DSM, worked but tried only short time, because DX3 ist not working with E-Maxx transmission - Third Futaba with 3PM with 2 different crystals. So I have always changed the receiver and the transmitter. Than with a friend a Futaba PCM. On this radio system you have seen very clear, that if you do not pull out the antenna of the transmitter, after 30 feets, the maxx goes on failsafe. You can believe me, this supermaxx drives me crazy. Gusti |

Hi Basketti
If I pull out the antenna, then the problem starts at 60 to 70 feets. But there is no fun, driving a supermaxx in such a short range. Also If the maxx starting accelerate himself, it is dangerous. If you take pcm, you are always in the failsafe mode. Gusti |
when it takes off by itself can you still steer?

Is the antenna on the transmitter tight? I had a similar problem and that was the reason.
