Only things I'd like is 4WD added and motor in center rather than out back.

it's gone too far for me. A realistic life like CORR truck taken apart and turned into a buggy. Why not buy a buggy? It's cool looking for sure though. I may buy a muggy and turn it into a buggy, or a truck. Or get a truggy and turn it into a muggy. Or, buy a working r/c and turn it into a pile of parts, I'm good at that:lol:

the offset difference is not really noticable, yea that body only has 2 weekends on it LOL i screwed that one up , i forgot to scothcbrite the surface before i painted it.
paralyzed- i didnt buy the slash to do that i just saw it on youtube and reallized i had all the parts just sitting there so why not try it out, right? plus maybe it will jump alittle better since the big corr body wont act like a sail and the heavy tires will give it more resopnse in the air. |

I tired the full offset wheels on the slash and they look a bit wide for my tastes. Might wear the bearing very fast... I think that I will have to buy a set of half offset wheels and see how they work. I found a great deal on 2 tires, just need to find another 2, or remove the good pair I have from the wheels... |

here are the pics you wanted link one at ride height (arms below level a little) and they one at full compression but even if you trimmed the body it wouldnt matter because they hit the chassis, oh and with half offset wheels it sits 12.25" wide out back and 12" wide up front
|
i think he wanted to see the full car, to compare the offset front to rear. Maybe not, thats now I took it though :P

Think of the backslash as being a longer/larger rusty, then it kinda makes more sense- vs a proper 1/8 buggy...
|
i gave the dimensions.... and 1/8 inch on either side is not even visable in a picture.

I did find a good way to mount the front of the body. Take off one of the front body mount posts, and use a long screw from underneath to mount it to the front of the chassis, in front of the shock tower. I used the center large hole that the upper portion of the slash front bumper mounts too. Seems to be the perfect length for my body, and looks to be about the same height as the backslash truck too. |
