I won't post a link as it crosses over into Mike's business, but you just go to 1/8th scale parts, and scroll down. They are VERY expensive... However, they are made for specific vehicles, so the trays can not be run in any vehicle unless they are modded.

I had the hyper7 pod style trays, nicely made, but super heavy. My buggy was a tank. Not really my cup of tea, as I would prefer to make my own, and save the $40+.

Update on the 8ight-T. The conversion went very smoothly, and today I got my first test run. I just ran it on a grass field. Anyway, after about 10 minutes, the pinion gear loosened and came off (easy fix), and then after another 10 minutes, as I was doing the last high speed run of the day with it, I lost all control. No steering, throttle, etc. So I guess I wasn't as lucky as I thought I would be, as I have two working MMM ESC's right now. But the 3rd died a quiet BEC death.

What are the run times on each??? Is it worth going with the MMM over the MM on the crt .5??

jnev 11.03.2008 07:52 PM

I haven't had any real track time with any of them, as I'd liek to get all three running before, I head over there. The 8ight-t had its MMM die during its first run, so I don't know tech run time it will be getting. However, out of the CRT.5 and 8ight, I can get about 40 minutes out of each while bashing more or less. It all depends how you drive.

The only reason I am running the MMM is because the MM and UBEC take up way too much room. They fit, its just that all the extra wires make it look really sloppy.

BTW - I redid the servo, ESC, receiver mount and battery tray on the CRT.5.

Got any new pics... i plan on starting my build in the next 6 weeks or so and any ideas/starting points would really help. :mdr:

I will have new pictures by this weekend probably. The only thing I have to finish is the battery tray which I am about half way done with.
