Ofna Jammin CR buggy and CRT are interchangeable. However, keep spur size in mind since the CR mount sits much lower/closer to the chassis...a large truggy spur used in conjunction with the CR mount could rub on the chassis. Additionally, either Jammin CR/CRT (CR is preferred because it promotes a lower center of gravity) mount will work with the DM-1 or DM-1 Spec.

The Jammin (Ofna) CR Buggy motor mount is a direct drop in for the DM1. I used it in mine. The DM1 uses the Jammin dif uprights. http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...CMcrbuggymount |

does anyone know if any of the mounts will fit onto a thunder tiger ER-1 ?
|
We have the ST-1 Thunder Tiger mount - not familiar with the ER-1, though? is it the same car? Got a link?
|
Just out of curiosity, is there a mount that is symetrical top to bottom so it can be flipped upside down? That would give the option of mounting the motor on the left or right of the spur.

i thought it would have been the same as the ST-1 mount as the chassis is almost the same but it wont fit the ER-1. i have found a model which center diff mount fits but again it isnt a popular design/make [ GV models REX X ] |
The CR Buggy(Jammin') mount has the same hole pattern on top and bottom, but the top uses m3 screws and the bottom uses m4 screws. I don't know if the bearing hole is centered top to bottom, but it is pretty close. Most of the mounts do allow the entire center diff assembly to be reversed by adding a spacer underneath for spur gear clearance(puts motor in left front opposite the steering servo and is common position for dual battery conversions).
The easiest way to determine compatibility is to match the center diff bulk part numbers - if another car uses the same part number and the ST-1, then the ST-1 motor mount would likely fit. :) |
Hello,
it seems the Thunder tiger ST1 motor mount should be the same for the EB4 S3, is there anyone to confirm? Thank you :). |
