LRP tires and rims
Lower Truck Wider Truck Slower Speeds Dont Turn so sharp  |
Took out the spacers and man the thing turns on a dime now. I can do a 180 at top speed again. Thanks for the ideas. I may try some of the others as time permits. So I guess the only downfall is that I really cant jump it to much now as it seems to bottom out qucker.
I'm guessing a truggy would mean another nitro conversion. I have done several of them and am just kinda burned out on it. As much as I like running them the emaxx is the only vehicle I have ever put a brushless motor on that hasnt fallen apart from the power of the motor. My nitro conversions have also gotton pretty expensive and the maintenance seems to be a bit more. |
good to hear you can do a 180 at top speed. i can say you were still lucky to go 3/4 throttle and still do a 180.
im running a 7xl as well geared for 44mph. with my setup, i can only go like 15mph on turns on concrete. any faster any itll flip. i have stiffer springs and thicker oil. when i tried using the stock springs, the sag was CRAZY. i dont know how you can run your truck with the stock springs. i have lipos so its lighter than nimhs. i guess the chevrons have very weak traction or something. im using the losi zombies and they have too much traction. |
Yeah I have noticed ever since I made those changes I do have quite a bit of sag, but its the only thing that keeps it from flipping over so I will live with it. I bought another emaxx for doing some offroading and am using this one for street running only. Too bad we cant have the best of both worlds.
The more I look at my new street I hate it. The stuff they put on top is like sand paper. I'm starting to notice the tires getting worn down and chipped, where before I was running without a problem. |
