i just had a thought. What if a screw a screw in from underneath to push the broken one out? i just put my truck together so i dont want to do it now, do you think it will work?

that is a negative on working with the screw. It will only go against the other one and bind it in there.

Sylvester 11.25.2005 10:53 AM

Yeah dont do it! You will ruine(sp?) your thread, dont even try that!

Ok then. Just thought it would work cause I remember thats what you do when making the supermaxx diffs.

I have used the drill method on stuff bigger. I works if screw is not in there tight. If you use about a 2mm bit as the drill grips the screw to drill it will spin it out.

Basketti 11.25.2005 06:59 PM

yeah that sounds good, i'll try it and let ya know how it goes.

Try heating the bulkhead with a hair dryer or heat gun. It will make the screw a little eaiser to get out.
