The esc only retails for $170, $130 for the motor is a good price. The combos are supposed to be out in decembre. I would wait.

The Neu's and Teckno Neu's are made in the states, and have a few differences from the CC neu's that are made in China, so there's alot of the difference in price right there. There are a few other differences between the two, i've heard that the CC neu has a slightly lower efficiency, which means it would run a little hotter for a given voltage. Other than that i believe that the two use different wraps on the rotor (carbon on the Teckno/neu). All in all if the CC Neu is reasonably close the the performance of the origional Neu's/teckno Neu's then they should be a great motor for the price that they will be at, and its up to you if you want to spend almost twice as much for a marginal gain in performance and possibly quality of construction.

I run a 1512 2d/f on 4s in my ERevo. I don't just think it "will work," I think it is the right motor for the ERevo. It's a much lighter motor and don't forget that the ERevo has a transmission. It is nothing like running in a truggy (where the 1515 is better suited). I used to have this same 1512 motor in a 1/8 buggy and it definitely worked harder then. In my ERevo, this motor is in semi-retirement. It's taking it real easy. I can run my 1512 as long as I want without any concerns for heat. I've run 30 mains with no problem.

Interesting point.

Anyway, as for where to get the MMM system- I believe Mike usually announces a pre-order sale, so its first come-first served when its posted up, if it hasnt been already that is; you can always email him to enquire, he is good about repsinding within 24-48hours normally (contact details are floating around somewhere..).
