Looks like it lol. I wonder if it is screwed down from inside the case? Double sided tape?

So this is all from the Euro market what does this mean for the US? I am surprised Traxxas did not try and get some kind of exclusivity deal in this but CC is sure going to corner the market with the MMM. |

My God that thing is sweet

Looking at the esc there, it appears as though there is a small gap underneath it and the plate its mounted too- Im guessing they used doubled sided servo tape to hold it down. I think screwing it down wouod be more secure, until you had an accident and the esc case seperates and the top half is left to flail around in the wind (I found that out myself). Judging by the size of the mounting plate though, Im sure we will see some nice homebrew mounts appearing, as has already happended for the MMM in the Erevo...

at least they put the switch in a dustproof boot........ but im excited that both companies want castles stuff... novak is screwed if they cant do a decent compeditior... even if it does take 5 years!!!

Novak needs to come get out of the hole they live in and realize that for 8th scale vehicles, high voltage sensorless is where it's at. So far none of the 8th scale BL RTR's will be sensored or under 5s capable. None have used Novak either. To me Losi was Novak's only chance to get inside a 8th scale RTR and that ship has sailed. So while ROAR and Novak party in yesteryears the RC world keeps movin on up! (yes I now have you humming the Jefferson's theme in your head if not out loud)
|
I wonder if Roar will finally decide to get out of Novak's bed and go with what the racing community wants rather than what a single company wants? Purely hear-say and speculation of course...

Seems HPI changed the bullet connector from 6.5mm to much more polular 6mm type.
