Question: Will there be a winner for every category? What do we win?
FWIW: I will have a new (much better) picture of my truggy on wednesday or so. Please don't close the polls until I get my new pic up!

Metallover 12.02.2008 08:13 AM

u have a couple weeks before the polls start. I am thinking I'll put them all on a poll and then you can vote for one from each category. Tell me when you get your new picture.

You truck should be in there shortly. I am unable to edit my first post so everytime I want to edit it I have to have a mod do it. It may start to take longer to get your trucks up but I will still do it as long as the mods are willing.

I like Redshift's build http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14560- that kind of innovation, and build it yourself construction needs to be more recognized than the ability to write a check or run up a CC bill on shiny store bought stuff.

BL_RV0 12.03.2008 10:42 PM

Second that.

Metallover 12.03.2008 11:14 PM

My god, yes that's amazing. i will send him a pm. I really like that kind of stuff too.

Wow I'm floored with the comments guys!

Put my name in the hat, it's Jason.

I think mine defies classification, so I will leave that decision in all of your hands.

Thanks so much to those of you who also appreciate the anti-bling, or at least extreme function-before-form lol.

This will be an interesting contest no matter!

Metallover 12.03.2008 11:19 PM

I am considering changing the title to more of a show-off thread because I think we could get more builds on here that way. Sound good?

Got your pm Metallover, looks like we intersected on the replies lol.

And which kind of metal is it you love...... both?

Metallover 12.03.2008 11:30 PM

It means the music type metal. BUT the hard stuff it pretty inducing........

I'll get your truck in there tomorrow. I still need to know what picture you want. Your truck is truely amazing. In my eyes I like it more then the battle truck. Your truck is the kind I like. It's really innovative and you can tell a lot of time was put into it. It wasn't bought either. It was created.

Nice- I am a Gothenburg freak. I am an American, but always gravitated toward Sweden. Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Therion, etc... metal heaven.

[end thread hijack] ;)

Please use my avatar pic, post# 3 in my Mutation thread.

Very good sir!

redshift 12.04.2008 12:19 AM

Yes Pantera too. I'll shut up.

POTY 08: Mini-Truggy: Mine :yipi::wink:

haha, I just like mine as its insanely fast (broke 60 easy,) lightweight, LED tail and headlights, runs Masher2Ks on Jato rims for bashing, and used the Ofna chassis and made everything fit w/o batts hanging off or wierd mounting. Not only that, I included tons of ET data on different setups, motors, batts, gearing etc.
Entertaining and informative. Plus I made my own batt tray. Yeah me.
