Very nice. You can put LEDs on those maglights too.

Yours looks a bit more professional than my attempt a few years back:

It did work really well though! I just put two extra stick packs in the top tray. It handled really well. (ummmmm......)

Lol, classic.

Anyway, I got my headlamps from work- they are made by a company called BCB, though the website shows the older design that I fitted to my TXT-1. These lamps were very good for me as they have a great attachment point (originally a tilt mechanism so you could angle the lamp up or down), very simple to attach to the bumper mounting point with a long bolt and a few spacers. I'd say check ebay or your local camping store to see what they have exactly.

I do also have a set of head and tail lights ( 2 white, 2 blue, 2 red LEDs) from ebay too, but I prefer the way these ones look, more... je nais sais quoi...

EDIT: Imex Jumbo clawdawgs & jumbo diamond rims- highly impractical and 1lb each, but the best looking tyres ever

That first pic does look a bit creepy yeah, I've given my truck a face...

looks good Neil! what effect do they have on handling and jumping? are they easily removable for hard bashing?

suicideneil 12.24.2008 09:54 AM

Bearing in mind my truck's normal handling, these wont make any difference, good or bad its safe to say  They are easily removable though, just one long bolt on each side and they come right off, then screw in the normal button head screw to hold the strobe brace in place again. Only major draw back is that you cant run a shell without hacking the front end to bits, so either a roll cage or balls of steel are required- Im liking the topless look so I may see about some kind of minimalistic cage just to cover the centre portion of the chassis (rx, motor, esc area).

That's to COOL Neil...:intello: I need to do that to one of mine..

Thanks for the idea..
