I am getting mine ready to go. Wanted to run 1700kv Tekin truggy system but budget wouldn't allow that. Now got a used MMM v3 and a 1900kv KD36 (waiting on RCM heatsink/clamps to get back in stock). Also building the RCM slipperential to put into it.

Were you looking at the RTR, the Pro, or those prototype models they have available?

There's a build thread on the Caster USA forums about the F18's. I think the Pro version had some part fitment issues and a few other problems when it was released. Might want to find out if those have been resolved in the kits they are shipping now, unless you are going with the RTR model which should be fine.

i am thinking of the rtr. then upgrading it a little, it seems like it wouldnt be to much to make it a pro. plus you get all the electronics, shoot just coming with the esc/motor/servo will be the money i can put into the chassis/ towers.

Have you looked to see if they still have the prototype models? Save a few more bucks and they come with the cool green anodized parts. Not sure what exact differences there are, but it's supposed to be very close to the standard RTR.

im acually gonna buy the rtr and the pro. that way ill have a bunch of extra parts. and i can sell the radio and battery/charger setup
