Those are them, diameter is the same, but they are shorter than the LST2 shocks
|
FYI: I picked up a pair of stock Muggy shocks and they are the same as the LST2 shocks, except they have plastic bodies and black springs.
I also picked up a set of MGT MMT shocks. The website said they use 3.5mm shafts, so I did some calculations from some pictures based on that figure. Well, they came in and they actually have 3mm shafts, so my calculations were wrong and they won't work either. They have about the same bore as your typical buggy. I now have quite a stockpile of shocks and springs. I'm sure I'll use them eventually. In the meantime, I decided to modify the shocktower so I can use the LST2 shocks. Oh well. |

If they are the same as the LST2 shocks, then they are not Muggy shocks. They are probably aftershock shocks. Do they match the dimensions I gave? My dimensions were dead on hole center to hole center. If you got them from a chop house on ebay, I would say they made an error. I had that happen to me when buying Muggy diffs one time, got aftershock diff (wrong ratio, but looks the same).

I thought of that (replacing just the shaft), but I kinda want a shorter bore and shaft. That will get me the exact length AND range I need. Retaining a longer body would be like pre-compression...
