+1 I run that setup and love it. I have them on my lst now and also had them on the erevo. Great wheel/tire combo.

Revo_Troop 02.12.2009 05:40 AM

done deal Im ordering them... will I need any adaptprs or anything to make them work?

madmaxx 02.12.2009 01:02 PM

the maximizer's are 17mm hex so it depend's on what you got?

i have two set's of beadlock's, one with badland's and the other with road rage's :yipi:

I gave up on beadlocks for my revo - They couldn't survive a Neu 2.5D on 6s

1 x Pro-Line Premium Blend CA Tire Glue (Medium, 15-20 sec) - $8.49

1 x Traxxas 17mm Wheel Hubs & Nuts (Blue) (4) - $21.49

2 x Pro-Line Badlands MT Monster Truck Tire (2) - $46.98

1 x JConcepts Rulux 1/8th Truck Wheel 1/2" Offset (White) (4) - $17.49

ok this is my final descion...I think...lol

how will this work out? I'm guessing I will have to stretch the tire Im willing to give that a try...where can I read up on the taping of the inner tire because Im having ballooning issues now and expect this will continue...

You'll only have to stretch the tire if you buy the half-ups versus the standard version.

Nice Skellyo thanks for the heads up looks as though that shouldn't be an issue for me since I have the standard ones chosen.....right?
Im such a newb when it comes to this thanks for the patients!

madmaxx 02.12.2009 01:48 PM

the J concept's rulux 1/2 up's are LPR size and will require the MT sized badland to be stretched on, you will not need to stretch the badland's onto the maximizer's, also you will not need to use CA glue with the beadlock's, they hold. TRUST ME!

flip the tire inside out, clean with rubbing alcohol and apply duct tape to the center (treaded portion) of the inside of the tire....

diff oil's can aid in tire ballooning as well....

I think Im going to scratch the maximizer and go with this set up--

1 x Pro-Line Premium Blend CA Tire Glue (Medium, 15-20 sec)

2 x Pro-Line Badlands MT Monster Truck Tire (2) -
1 x JConcepts Rulux 1/8th Truck Wheel 1/2" Offset (White) (4)

As soon as I get a thumbs up from you all on fitment..and that I have all required parts..thanks!

Looks good to me. I'd use the thin CA instead of the medium. I've found that the medium takes way too long to cure and doesn't make it down between the bead and wheel as easily.

Ill second that medium is no good at all! Use thin ca, you may get a bit on your tire, but just have a paper towel ready to wipe it off!

Revo_Troop 02.12.2009 11:46 PM
