Thank you John. This is very helpful. A Wave Wind is an entirely different format altogether.

I'll continue researching in this direction.

It appears to me that Plettenberg, Neu, Medusa, and I'm sure Castle Monsters use this wind also.

I looks easy enough to follow the existing format to produce the same wind. But I wonder what the variations are?

I don't want to assume anything, but isn't this wind pulling on all 4 magnetic poles of the armature at the same time for each phase?

This is great. No wonder these motors are making so much power. :yes:

I called Plettenberg today and they told me that you have to pay 155€ for new windings for your Maxximum :surprised:

Nuts!!!! I gues I made the right choice! Sike and I did a trade, so he gets to play with the plett, and I have more lipos to fool with!

Yeah, you did the right thing, 155€, that's nearly a new Neu 1515.

I hope sike will tell us if he did manage to rewind it.
