Nope, no problem at all as long as your burst rating can accommodate the current demand.

Aaahhh, gotcha :yes: My top fueler and funny car are both direct drive and even though they don't have spurs/pinions, and even the diff ratio is never changed, I can still tune the car to do what I want it to... and I hope I prepped my tires well enough to get max traction.

Well its been a while but finally got it together...

Final set-up is:

Megatech Dragster
HPI Motiv BL ESC
HPI 5700 Motor
Spektrum Radio
3s 30c LiPo (Going 2s)

Attached you will see the set up. Used a Tekno motor mount.

also you will see what happened about 200 feet down my front street. :surprised:

This thing is stupid fast...

Far enough that there is a piece I couldn't find.... I'm just glad the thing didn't put it into a tumble...

I got the 5700 for a great price. 4600 would probably be better but we will see...
