I have no experience with other trucks, but my revo has been one tuff truck. I had problems with the diffs but the gaskets were not on right got new diffs and no problems
well i like nitro almost the same as my brushless truck mainly becaseu the sound and the fact it is pretty much just gas and go.
Does he want just a mt or maybe something else. I have been looking at some of the truggies. I think they would be fun. Just a suggestion though. It should take a good beating and be racible to.

coolhand-you might want to consider a hotbodies lightning stadium pro-r. you can put you own radio gear and motor in it. its a great, well built truck and is top quality.
ya the revo is a great idea and yes if you get bored of the gas filling then theres always a electrick converstion:D

savage is cheaper to convert to electic.

I like that Warhead better than the savage I was looking at them both.
The pros I seen for the Warhead are, metal gears, reverse, lower/safer engine mounting, full underbody chasis, larger gas tank w/ the lil resivoir thingie so it don't run lean, its also $100 bucks cheaper. Better motor IMO. The frame also 'looks' stronger. The Savage is proven, has the 3 speed tranny, and more avalible parts. But adding up what I have seen the Warhead looks like it did its homework, |
Yea, duratrash did there homework and deserve there normal name, Duratrax. Ive heard alot of good things on the warhead!

i have a mt and so far its great

I'd go with the nitro Rustler. I just put some pro-line tires and a pro-line body on it. It rocks!!
Also go with the trx 2.5 engine for the rustler
Why not the new 3.3 motor in the rustler?
that would be insane but i like insane
