Yep, your biggest weight savings can be tires. Check out the site below. I don't know how accurate it is but it will at least give you a reference.

and now do someone can refer me for good ligtweight wheels ?

since I dont have find some comparaisons on the internet.

mkrusedc 03.09.2009 02:31 PM

Proline dish wheels should work.

Metallover 03.09.2009 05:48 PM

I heard the stock E-savage tires are really light.

suicideneil 03.09.2009 09:09 PM

2.5lbs is light in my book  (4lb of Imex awesomeness on my truck).

Look into the 1/8 truggy wheels and tyres- some very good tread patterns for grip and handling, but thats out of my area of expertease really.

I received my motor feigao 540c 8xl finned can and my 19t pinion dont mesh with the 58t jato spur ( mod 0.8 ) because of the finned can.. so now I would give a try to 20 and 21t pinion im pretty sure 20t would work fine..

...or grind down the fins. (another redneck mod:whistle:)

Jason 03.09.2009 11:02 PM

I grinded down the fin and I get only a good 70% mesh with the 19t pinion so with the 20t it would be perfect
