Guy, I put the Integy's on my Flux, and the bearing fit very snug. I didn't have to use a hammer or a press to get it in, but I had to use the axle to guide it to make sure it was aligned perfectly to go in. I was very happy with them. I do agree that the RCM webstore could use some updating. Its very hard to find certain things, and some of the desc are a bit lacking. EG. the batt section, lots of different batts are just jumbled together in no decernable order for size, price, brand, cell count, etc. You gotta flip thru pages to find what you want. Eh, I know Mike is super busy, but it turns some people off. Its not a complaint I've heard only once on various forums around the web.


It sounds like the hub carriers listed are really the only way to go. There are alum steering blocks out there too. They solve the weak dogear prob, but you still have a turnbuckle. The stock turnbuckles are really crappy. I ended up replacing mine w/ hellfire turnbuckles and ends. Much beefier.

If Im honest, I've thought the RCM store is in need of a spruce up- some descriptions are very good, others are a tad lacking, along with some of the pictures & yeah, the order needs some reworking. If Mike is too busy, then perhaps a mod or trusted members could be given access to tidy things up a bit- even if its just the pictures and the order of items, and leave the descriptions alone incase of getting too personal?

I've got those carriers. I assumed they would fit too since the Sav Flux is supposed to have the same uprights as the XL. Truck is all in pieces right now so I can swap out the phillips head screws for hex but I should have it all together by the end of the weekend with a few additonal upgrades including the carriers.

I'm not a particularly big fan of Integy either but if the part fits well and holds up then I'll give them credit on this item.

For the front of the truck I'm hoping the servo saver will keep the knuckle from breaking. I also think the turbuckle looks a little thin so I'll be running the Hellfire turnbuckle as well (I'm fine with the steel M5X60mm). Works out well in my E-Sav so I'll run it on this truck as well.

The stock turnbuckles didn't last long on mine either. Have Kyosho STRR turnbuckles there now. A bit too beefy maybe but even they get loose after a while and sloppy wheels are a pet peeve of mine.

Let us know how the new ones fit and work out Darkwav. The atomics are out of stock at RC-Mart right now so still trying to make up my mind and looking at conversions for the XL. It's starting to get that time of year where I convert my nitros back to brushless for the winter.

Jeff, the ones you linked to are for the Rustler. The bearing fit in the integy sounds promissing. Atleast on these integy parts it looks like they added some bulk to the areas that will see the most stress.

Yeah I used the HF 5x60mm buckles as well. The nice thing too is the ends are the same as the ones that are used on the adj arm kit for the savage, so I have lots of spares. They are for std truggy size balls as well. So far I just have upgraded the tierods on the str. I'm thinking of doing a four wheel steering mod and using the same HF rods and ends for the rear str as well. I have the servo and servo saver, so I just need to order the buckles and I should be set. Think I'll order the FLM rack so I don't need to open up the rear tvps so much either.
