If the need arises I know that I will not be bringing a knife to a gunfight... I just like the option of owning what i want. Plus ammo prices have tripled (at least, maybe more) in the last 3 years, so I have quite an investment.

If it is available you would have to do a transfer and pay the tax stamp for it... If it still has the barrel under 16" it will be classified as a SBR (short barrel rifle) or possibly an AOW (any other weapon). Sucks either way...
