You really gotta glue them well for sure. The set I have are good for 75-80 mph wheelspeed free-wheeling...after glueing the poorly glued spots that broke loose, lol. They like a perfect glue job, get the gluebottle with the tiny tubing inserts to get the glue in there well while peeling the rim edge back when you find a break. Then an outside bead seems to help, but make sure the main rim to tire interface is sound first. Check for the tire coming loose after running it occasionally as well. After all this they are bulletproof.

For high speeds, I know these rims and tires are good for 103mph

Are those belted or just glued really well?
|
Pretty sure just premounted and glued...
They also have these mounted on a Rustler with 17mm adaptors and they are pushing up to and beyond 90mph with a Neu 1509 also. |
i just went to my lhs and got 4 sets. they're a little pricey, but if they hold up on video over 100, i'm sold.
i'll have pics up soon. |
I'm sold on those too! I've seen that run and I'm a believer!

here's a pic of the new tires:

Do they bulge out and 'pizzacutter' when spun at top speed, or do they stay flat like the belted OFNA's?
I saw that Ebay party selling those parted out RTR 8eights also...so tempting. |

i saw that other 8ight too......but i'd be sleeping on the couch for the next year if i bought another. |
Cool! I guess they forgot to advertise a feature with those. A whole bunch easier getting pre-mounts rather than wrestling those Ofna's, eh? I might get a set if I get that Losi

the same seller had a sportwerks turmoil for $179 last night.
