Hey the guy at my lhs said that he ran kyosho 500000wt in the center and he dominated monster truck class with that setup. You think that 500000 is too much?

That is pretty thick for a truggy/buggy setup. A revo on the other hand uses 500k in the center diff, but it doesn't have 1/8 diffs. You can't run a truggy w/ MT anyway so if you want to run MT & 500k snag a brushless e-revo or revo platinum.

For what it's worth , In my Lightning Stadium Pro Basher truck I'm running M.M.M.2200 w/4s&5s with diff fluids as follows; 30K-F 100K-C 50K-R and it's a friggin' great bashing set up.

If it's a 1/8 diff I'd start with 30k, due to it being part of a transmission and not direct drive. If you have a lot of front end unloading then keep moving up until you don't. You want to just have enough to keep it from unloading... who knows though I guess a little trial and error is in order.

In my nitro Raze ST Truggy I've got 50k front, 100k center, 30k rear, and that is only because thats what the guy I talked to @ Duratrax told me he runs in his race truggy :oops: . I am only a basher, and this seems to work fine, but am I putting undo stress on the drivetrain? I've got a few hi power brushless setups waiting on me finishing some conversions (ex. muggy lt10 medusa 36-80-1600, 14xl, raze buggy MMM medusa 36-60-2000, MMM 2200 combo for another truggy). And know extra load can heat these motors up fast.
I see most of you are in the 7/10/3 range on buggy's and a little higher in the center for a truggy. I'm litterally 10 times higher than that in my truggy. Is that bad for anything? Handeling? Drivetrain? diffs themselfs? Any info apreiceated. -Brian |

I just want to make sure I'm not hurting anything other than traction maybe? It does seem to handle better that with the grease from duratrax, but am wondering the tech told me to run 10x what most of you seem to be running? -Brian |
I'm running my truggy with 7-10-3 for race this Sunday. Traction would be loose and bumpy. Ok?
