I took it to the track again last night for it's first actual race since I bought it. They didn't have a specific class for it, so I ran it with the "Outlaw Short Course" class. It was really unfair even though I'm still a terrible driver. Those other trucks could be halfway down the straight, and I could still catch them. They called it the "cheater truck". :-)
Anyway, I drove way quicker laps with the CRT.5 than with my bl-Revo. The CRT.5 is so much easier to drive and hasn't broken yet. Happy? Yes. Here are a few pics I took off the video taken by RyuJames. The video editing is still in progress. http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...0215Medium.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...0216Medium.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...2136Medium.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...3594Medium.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...6161Medium.jpg |

Right now I'm running 2s 5,6,8kmAh packs and 3s 3900mAh packs. I have an MM, UBEC, and a temporary CC4600 geared 12/46. The Medusa 50-3300kV shipped today, so I should be rocking it by late next week. |
thats great! i have one of his 4s 8000's i run in the truggy, it is awesome, i couldnt believe how cool that thing ran on only 2s, definatly a neat little truck!

So, I installed the Medusa 50-3300kV and raced it last night on 3s with a 12t pinion.
I kept nosediving off the jumps! I finally realized that my trigger finger was used to the 2-pole CC4600 motor. :-) lol By the A-main, I was driving much better and more consistently. Good times. |
lol, I had that problem too when moving from a CC4600 on 2s to a Medusa 3300 on 3s. What a world of difference! Not that it's important or desirable, but with 100k CD fluid, I couldn't get the 4600 setup to wheelie no matter what I did, but with the 3300 (even on 2s), wheelies are effortless.
