Here are a couple pics. I could go with a 12t pinion but might make my feigao over heat.

That is not the CRT motor mount. It looks like it could be the CR mount, which allows down to about a 12t pinion. The CRT mount had a lower gearing opportunity built into it because it was known that the buggy ratio diffs would potentially require very small pinions.

yes its the CR mount but i was told that it wil work, I know you said the crt mount works that low but every one else reasured me that it would work. any suggestions? Im not mad im just really want to drive my truck. lol
Thanks |
The CR mount will work - with the appropriate voltage, motor, and gearing selection. I say run it like you stole it, while saving up for an 80mm Medusa motor(heatsink will work nicely with the 80mm Medusa motor). Put a fan on the Feigao(thread m2.5 screws between the fins on the heatsink) in the meantime to keep temps in check. :)

ok ill get a 12t pinion. thenks for your help.
|
wear n tear of smaller pinion is higher, I use a 13 instead
|
There will Be no wear with a plastic spur...
|
and what does that have to do with my gears not meshing?

Do these points made in this thread still hole true?
