sweet thanks bustitup :yipi:
that is a secret. I think a lot of people are buying cheap. just took a look there's a few Out of Stock, I'll have to keep an eye out.
just the C rating I was wanting.
reviews look great just like zippy, but there still new (under 40 cycles)

IS it me or does anyone else see a trend with cheap batteries not staying in the market long and then somethin else comes out ?

seems like Flight Power is still hanging though

Hope you guys are not charging these cheap things in your house or not watching them

I've heard the Turnigy 2S 7.4V 5000mAh (15C) is actually a 25-30C.

I ordered me up two of them two days ago, in the morning, I think they're still processing, should still process for another couple days or so, HobbyCity has been getting TONS of orders lately...

rawfuls 06.18.2009 08:44 PM

I've had a number of Zippies for over a year.

Overall, I would rate them as Ok, but I don't know I'll buy them again.

They are a ton of power at low prices, but.....

They are always horribly out of balance, and several packs came w/ weak cells. It takes a ton of time to balance them, and one cell was prone to dropping to low voltage while the other ones were still well charged. Therefore it was hard to use the full cap.

Each of my 5s 4000 25C/35C packs has one dead cell. I can't really buy a replacement cell, so at best I can repair them to a pair of 4S packs, or one 5S and one 3S. Sucks.

FWIW, the small 2100 packs I got for the .5 have faired better, but bal still is not so good.

If you are careful shopper, you can find Neu packs for not that much more than Zippies, and they are far, far better packs. Plus Neu has a pretty decent warr. They are always balanced well, and have tons of punch. I think I'll only be getting Neus for a while.

I all ready ordered my rhino's . I have heard more good things about them than i have negitive things . I have talked to several knowledgeable people here & on rctech & they have had nothing but good things to say about them .

Same here...

Hoping the Turnigy's are as good, if not better than the Rhino/Flightmax/Zippy's.

Thank you, just what I wanted to hear and expected

I have seen a number of amazing deals on the Nue batteriesg, but never found the right combination.
I pulled the trigger on a XPS 6s 4000 30/50c , should be here in a few days.
xtreme power systems,

rchippie 06.27.2009 06:08 PM

I got my zippy rhino's today from the post office. The cells were very close in voltage before charging. Most of them were 3.9 -3.8 per cell . after charging both packs balanced perfectly to 4.2 volts per cell . I tried one pack the punch feels the same as my NEU 4900 . They are the excat same size as my neu 4900 . They have 10g power wire & a long balance lead . which makes hooking up to the charger easy & will also help when using a lipo sack .

BL-revo 06.28.2009 06:50 AM

i have an enerland 5s 6000mah pack but i have found that at the end of the run they are quite out of balance one cell is at 3.19 wheras there is one cell at 3.63? it only has 8 runs on it
