Kiz - no need to apologise - the posters above are knowledgable but are just ribbing you a bit... It is not intended to be a newbie bash - they were just born with a personality disorder and like to wear ladies underwear.
Personally I would always size amp wise battery, esc, motor in decending order. Battery is the life blood of your car (heart motor, ESC arteries) - don't try to skimp else you won't get the results you are looking for. |
Sounds like a potent setup. As long as you are gearing for 50+ mph that motor should have enough load on it not to overheat. The sidewinder will not have any issues. That lipo should be good for 50+ amps, and i doubt that the motor will pull that much. The batt should be good for at least 600watts considering voltage drop under load.
Good luck keeping that little truck on the ground! Sounds like a fun project. |
