Thanks! Now I do have an external Bec on the 80 amp mgm does that help any? (I really love my mgm's If not I'll probably just sell the 2 I have and upgrade.
Also I use my shulze 18.97 97/127 amp esc for my e-maxx and Bigmaxximum set-up and in my car at times also. So since this pack creats 120 amps, when I plug 2 into series for 6s for my truck, is it still 120 amps and just 3 more cells? Or will that be creating 240 amps and burn my schulze up! I really can't afford to burn up a $340.00 esc just because of ingnorance again....

Also I am sad to say that's the main thing I still haven't learned yet... How to set the timing? Where can I learn how to do this correctly?

A motor will only pull as much current as it needs to get the job done, batteries cant push current to the motor.

Hooking up 6s lipo will just increase the voltage to the esc and motor, the availablke current will stay the same- the power potential will increase though (power in watts = volts x amps).

The old 18.97 esc was purpose made for the BM motor, so it should still run fine, but then again, its a schulze afterall (Serum has a photo album full of toasted escs from that company....).

Timing on the shculze I think is done via those little dip switches- no clue about how to do that, but there should be a guide somewhere on their website, or seek out the Candyman- he still has an 18.97k with his BM motor in his truck 'MaxxBling'.
