About the temps, that's quite odd that you report those temps for a truggy geared for that speed. That's a typical speed most ppl gear for IMO.

My 1512/3d (1700kv) on 6s (40krpm) only runs ~130F after a 30 min MAIN at ~90F ambient temp.

i ran the 13/62 for 4s and it was fine for me, 12/62 is a bit low on 4s, but on 5 it is geared pretty fast, what are your MMM settings

loweset timing, 100% punch basically everything the loweset i can get it.
there isn't any binding as i found out when the pinion came flying out

zero the ambient temperature here is 90F at the moment too but do you think it could be that i ran one battery after the other? i ran it on 4s first i got temps of 144F on the motor and 116-117 on the esc but the batteries were at 133F :surprised:
i then put the 5s pack in and ran it non stop and got the temps as i mentioned :no:

well thats pretty good then, and 100% punch control? you know thats dogging it down all the way, i run 0% on mine

how much of an effect does running it on grass have because these temps were all from running it on grass...

thats the hardest on the system, so based on that your temps are good
