Ok, so far I have the following info:

MM

Medusa 36/60 3100kv

3s 3200 lipo

4.1" tall tires

Stock crt.5 diffs and spur

Unknown gearing

But with some sort of novak hv motor on 3s lipo and 13/46 gearing it was geared appropriately for the track.

Can you fill me in on the kv of the novak motor, or at least the wind count?

a 13t pinion on 3s looks pretty good to me for what you are doing:

I would definitely install an external bec, that will help with the esc temps on 3s.
