Motor mount almost done- needs to be welded on to the stiffener plate/chassis:

And the rear sprocket mounted to the wheel, this turned out really badly because I had to do this weld quickly as to not warp the sprocket past the point of no return and the fact that the wheel and sprocket are lousy steel, AND I also couldn't remove the freewheel, not press fitted or threaded... so I had to weld it to itself so the motor can help slow the bike down at idol:

Today, I went to a industrial salvage yard and a lawnmower shop. Picked up a #35 9t 5/8" sprocket for use on the clutch, a #35 28t 5/8" sprocket to use as the primary on the jackshaft, a #35 20t 5/8" sprocket to use as the primary on the jackshaft if the bike isn't quick enough, a #40 9t 5/8" sprocket to use as the secondary on the jackshaft, which will run to a #40 40t sprocket mounted on the rear wheel, pictured above. I also bought some fuel line, #35 and #40 chain of the correct widths, and some 5/8" ID 1 3/8" OD flanged sealed bearings for the jackshaft. I have everything except the twist throttle to get this running now. Hopefully I can get it all together by sunday night, providing I can get a full day's work in on sunday. I will get pics as well.

The weld is better than the pic looks actually. And i had to weld the freewheel together because I couldn't remove it, and need the engine to help slow the bike down, as the drum brakes aren't worth the $5 I paid for the bike roller...

Not a countertop... Just a piece of marble my dad had lying around.

Remove or disable the Governor in that bike and you be hitting 40+ no joke.
I can't help you on the tork department, but the briggs is going to have less tork cause it's stock and a flat head. stock to stock (omitting Governor removal) ohv winns every time. but modified.....flat head rules.

BTW thing was directed at your Baja mini bike.

Seems like it's geared for about 20mph. assumming 9K at the motor and a 10" tire. I came up with a 13.8:1 ratio without your maybe sprockets if I read it right.

Personally I would at least support the rear of the engine or put a gusset ot 2 in the motor mount. And I don't know about the clutch it's probably a little light for the application without a lot more ratio or a varaible trans, looks like a fun project.

I'm geared for about 23mph. Thanks for the suggestions guys, and yes the motor mount is gusseted.

I see now thought that was a shadow.

Have you been able to remove the clutch bell? I have a motor exactly like that but can't get the bell off. I removed the screw in the center and nothing I guess it's stuck. Tried prying on it and it's so thin I am afraid of damaging it.
