Sounds like you have it set for forwards-brake-reverse (near 0 rpms); you need to change that to forwards-brake-reverse with lockout (so it will only go to reverse once you've stopped, released the throttle, then re-engage reverse).

Thanks that fixed the brake issue.

On another note the truck did something that I totally would not expect it to do, especially on just 4S... it did a standing back flip for me. :surprised: I could not get it to do it again but I will try to get a video this weekend of it running.

Looks good except for that damn MA pack. Get a good 5S pack and you'll be in business.

It's about all I wanna handle with the 4s pack now I don't want to think of what 5s would do. I adjusted the throttle curve and still can't keep the front wheels on the ground.

That's a good thing!

The third video was funny, I think we've all done that at one time or another.
Looks like she's running good for you, now go bash the crap out of it !

No wonder the wheel fell off, smacking that curb like that. OUCH. Made me cringe.

The wheel came off because of the lack of loctite.

Bondonutz 08.02.2009 08:53 AM

Hmm, I have the same 23mm hubs on my LST2's and never used the stuff there, never had any probs.

aqwut 08.02.2009 10:26 AM

Great vids man... but stay away from the curbs... :)

93firebird 08.12.2010 09:24 PM

Anyone know where I can find hardened pins for the hubs as well as aluminum wheels to fit a 23mm hex. I just sheered a pin, cracked a hex, and twisted it in the wheel, all at once. Another loose wheel issue. Damn you torque you are now my enemy.:grrrrrr:

You could use drill blanks or piano wire...
