Is fine but someone has to police it - when you start taking business aware from mike for the sake of $2 its not fair - support the monster...

For product categories that mike doesn't sell or compete with it would be fine... my guess this basic rule was broken...

Basically don't poop in your own dinner ...

My own rule I go by is that if Mike sells that product or a competing product, I don't post it, period. I always search his store before I post info on great deal I find. It's the only respectful thing to do IMO.

Skelly - 100% agree - I don't think it happened last time hence the delete key...

I canned my post for the Monster out of Respect.

What is the difference between 420 series and 40 series.
I need some sand tires for a Jammin CRT Truggy. What tire/wheel setup should I use?

BL_RV0 07.08.2009 10:50 PM

PL makes (or used to, can't remember) a 3.2" paddle.

nitrostarter 07.08.2009 10:58 PM

420 and 40 series are the same size tires. Just the 420 means that the wheels come with a 20mm hex.

I just! sold a set of Proline Maxx Paddles...

Pro-Line and Panther both make standard 3.2" paddle tires

I got my Sand Wedges in. They look great and should work great in the sand. I will say they come with CHEAP and really LARGE foams. They definitely need to be trimmed or replaced. Definitely a good deal tho.

I actually ran mine this past weekend at the beach. I put them on Axial 8 spoke beadlocks (what a pain in the ass). They do very well in hard packed and loose sand. I could nail the throttle on my Flux and dig about a 1" deep trench on take off in the hard packed sand.

Nice! I love the Sand Paws on my Rustler. But hated the Maxx Paddles because of the scoop design. These should do much much better!

Sorry to revise this thread... but these tires are still avail on Ebay. And I'm wondering if anyone has any experience between the two tire types? One has a deeper paddle then the other. Does that really make a huge diff? Or is it cool to maybe mix and match them F/R? I wanted to get some just in case it ever comes up that I can use them. Be it snow or sand. For that price, it's not a bad investment. I'm just not sure which to get!

I have a set of Sand Wedges and Axial 40 series wheels for sale if anyone is interested...
