papa, i think when he said a vbs i think he ment bulkless system in general. swift, i would go with the flm hybrid bulkless system with your current 1/8th gears. they will fit just fine. you just wouldnt use the cases since the bulkless integrates the cases with the bulks.

EDIT: the combos are for standard gears and the hybrids are for 1/8th gears.

Shock towers will work.Bulkheads and diff cases are no lnger needed if you use UE non towered vbs, or FLM Hybrid.

yes, you would have to reshim. like i said in my previous post the combos are for standard maxx gears and the hybrids are for 1/8th gears.
