I finally have some video footage! not the best because i'm just getting a feel for the throttle but it'll do 4 now. I will do some editing after I cut my lawn and see if I can have it finished by 2nite.

T-Bro, is it possible to turn the ESC the other way and shorten the wires? It might just be me, but the 8" long motor wires make me cringe...

Well as Obama has showed us "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE" lol. Yeah I know they are extremely long I'm already on it... I have just been far to busy to do all the work it's gonna take to possibly relocate it right behind the motor where my receiver box is so they will be as short as possible. The only reason I hate to move it is because I have a fan mount and a fan mounted to the chassis on the side it's on. It's going to take a lot of time and work to get it to fit on the other side as well as it does where it is and time just hasn't been my friend lately lol.
Haven't got to edit the video yet but I will asap. Soon as I do I'll post the video on this thread.

You could keep it in the same spot to use the fan, just face the motor leads toward the motor so they can be shortened.

Yep. It does have a bit of torque. :mdr:

dkexige 08.04.2009 10:11 PM

Nice! Very good job to keep it rolling. I wonder what else you could do to keep it on the ground. Extend the wheel base with a monoblock and maybe setback arms?

Great Video man!!!.. Great sounds to go with it too...

Rivermaxx 08.05.2009 12:34 AM

Cool vid! What chasis is that ? It looks like a rare UE lightning chassis with somebodys elses braces. You should get a monoblock it might help with the wheelies not too mention the proper braces which by design made too increase the strength of that awesome chassis.
