If I was going to do a conversion to make myself a short course truck 4x4, you could look at the academy SBV2 as a platform. All you would need to machine really would be a chassis, upper deck, and longer drive shaft. the parts from the RT4GP truck can bolt on to the vehicle, and the 12mm hex is used front and rear.

Would probably make a decent light-weight conversion. For maximum durability (at the expense of weight), pretty much any 8th scale buggy makes a good platform too.

it should, but, being a new 4x4 system, i am sure it will have a few bugs to be worked out

Sorry may bad! I actually redid a BL Ofna Ravenger for my friend recently and put on a traxxas slash truck body. Fit great and I used these mounts...and they worked great!

Thats F'ed up ? Once I investigate more I'll bet I'll find the release date ha ben pushed back a couple months on Traxxas's end ? Still sucks, I'm ready to drive this thing !
